Thread Cutter

Custom Thread-Cutting Tools Designed Specifically for Your Precise Thread Profiles

Manufacture carbide threading tools based on your drawings, samples, or application requirements.

Your Partner for Non-Standard Threading Solutions

At JIUHENG JM , we specialize in custom tungsten carbide thread-cutting tools designed specifically for applications where standard catalog tools fall short. Whether you need a unique thread pitch, a modified profile, or a fully customized solution built from the ground up, our engineering team can transform your requirements into high-performance cutting tools.

Every threading tool we produce is precision-ground on 5-axis CNC grinding machines according to your exact specifications and comes with complete inspection documentation.

StepsContents
① Send Your Drawing or SamplePlease provide your 2D/3D drawings, the major diameter, mean diameter, and minor diameter of the thread, or a physical sample. Don’t have drawings? We can reverse-engineer the design based on your sample.
② Engineering Review & Design

Our engineers will review the thread geometry, select the appropriate carbide grade and coating, and confirm the feasibility of the cutting tool. You will receive a formal quote with technical recommendations within 3–5 days.

③ Prototype & Sample ConfirmationFirst-article sample produced for your dimensional inspection and cutting trial. Adjustments are made based on your feedback before mass production.
④ Production & Quality ControlBatch manufacturing with in-process inspection at every stage. Every shipment includes a full dimensional report.
⑤ DeliveryStandard Lead Time: Custom threading tools require 3–4 weeks (within China). For rush orders, we offer expedited production services.

Frequently Asked Questions

What information do you need to provide a quote?

Ideally, please provide 2D/3D drawings that include thread specifications (standard or custom cross-sections) (major diameter, mean diameter, minor diameter, pitch), workpiece material, machine tool type, and estimated quantity. If you only have a physical sample, we can reverse-engineer it.

Yes. Send us your physical sample and we will measure, reverse-engineer the thread profile, and provide a drawing for your confirmation before production.

Our minimum order quantity is 10 pieces. We accept both small-quantity orders and large-volume production orders. Prices are adjusted based on the order quantity.

We do not provide free samples. We recommend that you place an initial order of 10 units to allow for dimensional inspection and test cutting. Any adjustments will be completed before full-scale production begins.

Standard options include TiB2,AITiN,TiAISiN, TiAlN, AlTiN, and AlCrN. We also offer coatings tailored to your workpiece material and cutting conditions.
